Once you have selected an Irish university and course of study for an undergraduate program, your next step is to click on their entry requirements section, which is usually country specific. Most Irish universities have specified entry requirements for each country separately.

The students applying for a full undergraduate program must first secure their non-EU and EU status. The admission requirements and fee structure are different for EU and non-EU students. The non-EU students will have to pay the full tuition fee, while the EU students will be offered 100% free or subsidised education.

  • Method of Application:

International students should choose their course according to their plan at their preferred University or college in Ireland. The following are the conditions to apply for long-term residency in Ireland. The fee charged for a long-term stay permit is 500 EUR.

  • The non-EU/EEA national must have legally resided in Ireland for at least 5 years.
  • If the applicant has lived illegally in Ireland during these 5 years, he will not be counted.
  • Also in the case of students, they must have legally resided in Ireland for five years (I-e they have (Stamp 2 & Stamp 2A).
  • The Long-Term Residency Permit is valid for 5 years, after which you can apply for citizenship. You must apply for citizenship before the long-term residence permit expires.
  • You must have maintained good character and complied with the rules and regulations of the Irish State.
  • When applying for a long-term residence permit, your work permit must be up to date.
  • The applicant’s spouse can also apply for a long-term residence permit if they have lived in Ireland for 5 years.
