Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for admission to IEU Malta, British students must meet the following criteria:
● A completed high school education for undergraduate programs.
● A bachelor’s degree for postgraduate programs.
● Proficiency in English, demonstrated through IELTS or TOEFL scores (If Applicable)
Admission Process for IEU Malta
1. Submit Scanned Copies: Send scanned copies of required documents for
evaluation.
2. Receive Admission Letter: Upon evaluation, receive an admission letter from IEU.
3. Pay Tuition Fee: Cover the tuition fee as specified in the admission letter.
4. Receive Invitation Letter: Upon tuition fee payment, receive an invitation letter from
IEU Malta.
5. Obtain Visa and Arrive in Malta: Apply for a student visa, then travel to Malta to
begin your studies.

Applying to IEU
The required documents for British students applying to IEU Malta can be categorised into two main parts: documents for admission to the university and documents for the Maltese student visa application.
Copy of International Passport:
A clear copy of the biographical data page of your valid passport.
Academic Records:
- For undergraduate programs: Your final high school leaving certificate (Matric certificate).
- For postgraduate programs: Certified copies of your bachelor’s degree transcripts and diploma.
Original Invitation Letter: An official letter issued by IEU Malta confirming your enrollment in a full-time program is mandatory.
Proof of Financial Means: This demonstrates you have enough funds to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and accommodation in Malta. Bank statements or sponsor letters can be used as proof.
Medical Insurance: Valid medical or travel insurance that covers you for the duration of your stay in Malta is essential.
Two Passport-Sized Photos: A couple of recent passport-sized photographs adhering to specific requirements set by the embassy/consulate.
Proof of Accommodation: A document from IEU or another source confirming you have secured suitable accommodation in Malta for the duration of your studies.
