Arrival

It is advisable to book all flights as soon as possible right after receiving the visa from the Russian embassy because the beginning of the academic year is a busy time to travel to Russia. We advise students to book direct flights to the city where the target University is located.

It is compulsory for every student to inform us about his/her flight details so we can ask the relevant university to appoint someone as airport receiver & make further arrangements.

It is obligatory for every student to send us a scanned copy of the booked flight ticket. If a university representative is not present at the airport, the students can be deported back to their homeland.

Immigration Clearance

Students must bring & present the following documents to the Immigration Office when they demand:

• International Passport (with Valid Study Visa)
• Copy of Invitation letter
• Copy of Admission Letter
• First semester expenses as stated in Admission Letter in cash or if tuition fee is already paid, a student should have a bank transfer receipt
• Original Educational Certificate (should be with Apostille of the Russian Federation)
• Original Medical Fitness Certificate
• 10 matte photos 3.5 х 4.5 cm

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Upon arrival at any Russian airport in Russia, you will be provided with an Arrival Card at the Immigration clearance desk. You have to fill out this card accurately and give it back to the Immigration Officer. In the field “Purpose of visit” please choose EDUCATION and write the NAME OF UNIVERSITY.

Arrival card is very important and after arrival in Russia, you will need it for registration at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Please don’t make mistakes filling it in.
